NSCC Retail Display

There are multiple, countervailing requirements for this display.  In terms of design we want something that gets attention but does not annoy, modern but not cool, friendly and professional.

Logistics compound these conflicts; modern is a moving target in a slow moving bureaucracy, the display installation is imminent, and IT does not have unlimited time to devote to finishing the screensaver for us.

To summarize,

  1. Animation movement must be moderately paced.
  2. Changing the central visual element must be trivial, if not automatic.
  3. The design must be a customized version of previous work.

Below is my solution.

The background is an image from the Licton Spring Review.  We are working on having them update the graphics one a year.
